Instrument maker Scintrex has received new orders worth $4.6 million in total.
The Concord, Ont.-based company says its orders include $2.8 million for geophysical instrumentation, $1 million for portable explosives detector equipment and $800,000 for radiation safety and monitoring equipment for Candu nuclear reactors.
Scintrex’s current backlog of orders is worth a combined $14 million, compared with $9.1 million at the end of 1993.
