Serengeti keeps going and going at Kwanika

Vancouver – Drilling Energizer bunny Serengeti Resources (SIR-V) continues to penetrate impressively long intersections of decent gold and copper grades at Kwanika, about 250 km east of Smithers, B.C.

In the Central zone recent results were as good as 482 metres grading 0.51% copper and 0.9 gram gold per tonne starting 177 metres downhole. In the South zone Serengeti cut its best intercept yet with 54 metres grading 0.34% copper and 0.76 gram gold starting 230 metres below surface.

Serengeti drilled 66 holes this season and has ten results pending. The company expects the drilling will go towards a resource estimate by January.

On news of the drill results Serengeti’s share price gained 1.5 to close at 38. The company has about 45 million shares issued.
