Seven Mile High directors resign

A number of directors and officers of Seven Mile Group (VSE) have resigned pending a hearing before the British Columbia Securities Commission scheduled for July 6. Maurice Hamelin, former president, as well as former directors Craig Harrison and Mervyn Weiss resigned. Clark Gilmour, now president, and Michael Sikula remain as directors.

The securities commission is looking into the actions of the previous board of directors as a result of allegations brought forward by a group of shareholders.

Earlier this year, the shareholders obtained a court order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia appointing an inspector to look into the company’s affairs.
