SGS’s Advanced Systems Group has released a new version of its flagship AHEAD (asset health, effectiveness and diagnostics) toolkit for asset performance management.
SGS says plants using AHEAD can see increases in average throughput while maintaining or improving product quality.
AHEAD alerts plant managers and their teams to developing process or equipment problems, and pinpoints the root cause(s) so that corrective actions happen quickly.
Mine managers can plan and proactively act on the top issues impacting production to optimize results using real time dashboards of their mine’s performance.
SGS developed AHEAD in partnership with BHP Billiton (BHP-N, BLT-L) and Barrick Gold (ABX-T, ABX-N) in 2004.
