The claims are situated 20 miles north of Tonopah and were worked by Anaconda from 1972 to 1982. Acquisition of the claims is subject to regulatory approval.
Previous exploration identified a large-tonnage, low grade gold deposit.
Sikaman has begun a $400,000, 6-month exploration program. Field work will include detailed mapping and prospecting, selected rock geochemical sampling and the drilling of 30 reverse circulatory rotary holes.
