An additional 1,007 claims have been staked by Silver Hart Resources off the northeast and southeast boundaries of its Hart silver project in the Yukon, reports President Alvin Harter.
The company now holds a total of approximately 84,000 acres of ground in that area, of which only an estimated 2% has been actively explored to date. The ground is traversed by a large series of roughly parallel faults running southwest- northwest and connecting the major Ketchika fault structure running approximately north-south.
The company has discovered a number of these faults to date containing shoots of silver mineralization. During this past summer, these shoots were exposed by stripping and trenching.
Diamond drilling is under way at the Snow Lake property in Manitoba, by subsidiary Snow Lake Mines, notes Mr Hart. Three holes have been completed to date and drilling on the fourth is in progress.
At the nine months ended Sept 30, Silver Hart posted a working capital of $1,033,843 with cash and equivalents of about $363,143.
