Drill results from the Spokane property, 40 km northwest of Lillooet, B.C., are providing encouragement for VSE-listed partners Spokane Resources and International Enexco.
The property lies within the Shulaps mountain range and is held 75% by Spokane and 25% by Enexco. Overseeing the drill and exploration program is consulting firm Padre Resources.
To date, 30 holes, drilled vertically to a maximum depth of 400 ft. and spaced about 80 ft. apart, have been completed. Hole 94-18 returned an intersection of 26 ft. grading 0.65 oz. gold and 0.86 oz. silver per ton, and 2.03% copper. Other significant assays are 10.7 ft. of 0.53 oz. gold, 0.79 oz. silver and 1.61% copper; 10.3 ft. of 0.40 oz. gold, 0.39 oz. silver and 1.12% copper; and 40.8 ft. of 0.22 oz. gold, 0.63 oz. silver and 1.24% copper. Well mineralized quartz veins strike east-west and dip moderately to the south. The mineralized zone is open both to the east and west, with recent drilling showing progressively thicker intersections and higher grades to the west. The drilling covers an area measuring 165 ft. wide by 900 ft. along strike.
Exploration work, including sampling, was carried
out this summer on claims adjacent to the Spokane property.
