Star falls at Black Lick

After processing 2,2021 tons of lamproite material, Star Resources (SRR-V) recovered only 0.38 carat of diamonds from the Black Lick prospect in Pike Cty., Ark.

The bulk-sample, which captured only diamonds larger than 1 mm, showed that Black Lick is not prospective for commercial production. The company is re-assessing geological information and results from other work on its properties before deciding if further exploration and sampling are warranted.
