Storimin is set to resume work on Moss Twp. bet

Storimin Exploration says it will resume exploration immediately after breakup on its Moss Twp., Ont. gold prospect, about 70 miles west of Thunder Bay, where a 30,000-ft drill program has been completed.

The project is a joint venture with Tandem Resources.

Storimin President A. E. Storey says drilling to date has confirmed a mineralized zone striking northeast over a 2,300-ft distance. The zone dips 75degrees to the southeast and has a true width of from 5 to 20 ft.

Mr Storey says within this zone assay returns confirm ore with a grade of better than 0.17 oz gold per ton, over 1,400 ft, with a true width of 8 ft to an average depth of 750 ft.

Hole S-87-26, deepest drilled to date, intersected 0.702 oz over a 7-ft core length. The most recent intersection received to date, it indicates the presence of ore to a vertical depth of 950 ft, the Storimin executive said.

He adds parallel mineralized zones have also been indicated by the drill program but are not included in the current evaluation.
