Summer pour at Hope Brook

The first gold pour by Royal Oak Mines (TSE) at the Hope Brook mine in Newfoundland is scheduled for early July, the company says.

Output is scheduled to steadily increase through to November, at which time the mine should be operating at full capacity of 130,000 oz. per year, Royal Oak says.

The company purchased the idle mining operation from BP Canada earlier this year.
