SUPPLIERS NEWS ROUNDUP — Dynatec awarded shaft contract

Richmond Hill, Ont.-based Dynatec has been awarded a US$9.5-million contract from North American Salt.

The contract covers the sinking of a 1,600-ft., concrete-lined production shaft at Cote Blanche Island in Louisiana. Work is already under way.
