SUPPLIERS NEWS ROUNDUP — Scintrex buys Auslog

Geophysical instrument firm Scintrex has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Australian-based Auslog, a leading manufacturer of borehole geophysical instruments.

The transaction is expected to close by March 31.

According to a Scintrex release, the synergy that will result from acquiring Auslog should translate into $2 million in incremental revenues annually in the coming years.

Scintrex has served as Auslog’s chief international distributor for the past four years.
