The government of Ethiopia has granted Tan Range Exploration (TSE) the exclusive right to explore a 210-sq.-km mineral licence.
The agreement covers exploration for gold on the Ilagere Mariam and Tulu Kapi prospects and for platinum group metals on the Blue Nile property.
Tan Range must spend at least US$1.4 million over three years, with exploration slated to start before April.
