Tandem drills Tilly Lake

Toronto-based Tandem Resources (TDM-M) has begun drill-testing showings of copper, gold and silver at its Tilly Lake property in northwestern Ontario.

The showings occur in a 300-metre-long-by-30-metre-wide contact zone between sedimentary and volcanic rocks. Grab samples run as high as 7.97% copper plus 8.91 grams gold and 147.43 grams silver per tonne, and a government-sponsored airborne geophysical survey has traced the contact for 2.7 km.

A rights-offering will allow shareholders to acquire one right for every share held, with four rights exchangeable for shares at 13.
