THE DIAMOND PAGE — Trade Winds collects sample

Junior Trade Winds Resources (VSE) has recovered several tonnes of kimberlite from drilling of the Drybones Bay pipe, in which it can earn an 80% interest.

Situated 50 km southeast of Yellowknife, N.W.T., the pipe contains at least five distinct phases and covers a surface area of 31 hectares.

Ashton Mining of Canada owns a dense media separation plant in North Vancouver, B.C., which will be used to process the mini-bulk sample, along with the balance of last year’s drill core.

Based on the previous processing of 421 kg of drill core, the Drybones Bay pipe has a preliminary grade of 0.087 carat per tonne.
