A conference on the future of the titanium dioxide industry will be held April 29-30, 1997, at the Stanley Park Hotel in Vancouver, B.C.
Entitled “TiO2 ’97 — A View to 2000,” the conference is aimed at titanium dioxide feedstock suppliers, processing specialists, producers, traders and users.
The conference will feature discussions on growth opportunities, as well as worldwide consumption trends and forecasts. The development of new products, processes and markets will also be examined.
Other topics for discussion include: plant upgrades and capacity expansions; coloring plastics and compounding issues; competition and substitutes for TiO2 in paints and paper; the availability of new, high-quality titanium in feedstocks; zircon supply and demand; new processing techniques; and waste acid recycling.
