Torene drilling (January 26, 1987)

Torene Gold Exploration reports it plans a 10,000-ft drilling program on its Harrington Cove gold project in Halifax Cty., N.S.

The drilling, to be financed through sale of 320,000 flow- through shares of the company, at $2 per share, to yield $640,000, will follow up on three gold-bearing zones, and explore other promising areas on the property.

President W. A. MacPherson says that as well, soil sampling has been completed on the company’s Harrigan West Extension claim group, Moosehead, Mitchell Brook and Elizabeth Lake properties.

Samples are being processed from these extensive programs, he said.
