Torene drilling (March 16, 1987)

Torene Gold Exploration says it has two drill rigs on its Harrington Cove property in Halifax Cty., N.S., working on a 10,000-ft phase 2 drilling program.

Torene says drilling is confined to the MacLean West zone and the eastern extension of this zone, where nine holes completed to date intersected 21 areas of visible gold, in clearly-defined slate-quartz belts.

There will be a pause in the drill program to allow assaying and interpretation to catch up, the company says.
