Tracker claims to be explored by Minefinders

An exploration agreement has been reached between Minefinders Corp. and Tracker Resources involving the latter’s 20 claims in Duplessis Twp. in the Bachelor Lake area of northwestern Quebec.

Minefinders President J. S. Belton reports previous drilling on the property intersected gold values above 0.1 oz per ton in one- third of the 44 holes drilled over 1-to-20-ft widths. Among the better results were 0.19 oz over 15.2 ft, 0.34 oz over 3.5 ft, 0.17 oz over 16.6 ft and 0.22 oz over 20 ft.

Under the agreement, Minefinders may earn a 50% interest by spending $300,000 prior to July 31, 1990. In addition, Minefinders will make three annual payments of $15,000 each to Tracker.

The exploration program on the property, to be called the Agar project, will be managed by Minefinders. A $150,000 program consisting of line cutting, mapping, geophysics and diamond drilling will be carried out prior to March 1, 1988.
