Trelleborg probes Spanish deposit

The Swedish company, which recently purchased a 50% ownership in Falconbridge Ltd., is reported to be excited about one of two deposits identified at its Aznolcollar copper-lead-zinc-silver mine, where the open pit operation will be completed by 1992.

The new massive sulphide target, named the Los Frailes deposit, sits two kilometres from the existing mine. Strike length is said to extend a minimum 1,000 m and 500 m downdip, with a width of 10-90 m. Construction of a decline is under way.
