Tri Origin active in northern Ontario

Junior Tri Origin Exploration (TOE-T) has launched two exploration programs in northern Ontario.

At the Confederation property, near Red Lake, the company is carrying out airborne geophysical surveys in an attempt to identify copper and zinc-rich massive sulphide deposits. The program follows a geochemical survey that outlined several areas with anomalous gold and zinc.

Ground geophysical surveys and diamond drilling are scheduled for later in the year.

Farther south, at the English property near Timmins, Tri Origin is drill-testing geophysical and geochemical anomalies considered prospective for gold mineralization. Ten holes are planned. Tri Origin holds 100% interests in both properties, though work at Confederation is being funded by Australian-listed Savage Resources, as part of that company’s requirements to earn 60% interests in several of Tri Origin’s base metal properties in central and eastern Canada.
