Tulawaka reveals more gold

Partners Pangea Goldfields (PGD-T) and Minires du Nord (MDN-M) continue to report high gold values from their Tulawaka property in Tanzania’s Lake Victoria Goldfields district.

Results from 15 holes in the East zone, combined with earlier results, outline three plunging shoots in a strike length of 1 km.

Gold values vary from anomalous to 42 grams per tonne over 1-15 metres. Results include:

    hole 341, which averaged 25.84 grams over 14 metres (98-112 metres);

  • hole 336, which returned 1 metre (57-58 metres) grading 42.4 grams, 2 metres (89-91 metres) grading 4.65 grams, 5 metres (108-113 metres) grading 4.03 grams, and 3 metres (139-142 metres) grading 1.85 grams; and
  • hole 325, which returned 4 metres (62-66 metres) grading 10.22 grams and 4 metres (94-98 metres) grading 12.88 grams.

Two holes failed to return any significant values, and results are pending for portions of another two. On section, holes were spaced 20-40 metres apart.

Mineralization remains open at depth, as well as to the south in two of the zones. Drilling continues.

Pangea operates and holds a 70% interest in Tulawaka; the remainder is held by Minires du Nord.

In related news, Pangea has completed preliminary rapid-air-blast drilling at its recently acquired Imwero project in the Geita camp. Results will be released shortly.
