The shares of Vancouver-based U.S. Precious Metal began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the stock symbol usp effective recently.
The original listing is in the mining category for 10,272,179 common shares, of which 8,516,021 shares are issued and outstanding and 1,736,158 shares are reserved for issuance.
The company holds an undivided 25% interest in the Hilltop heap leach property in Lander Cty., Nev. The company has an option to acquire an additional 25% interest and is now carrying out an exploration program which includes diamond drilling in the oxide zone extension and metallurgical testing in order to prepare a formal ore reserve estimate for the deposit.
U.S. Precious Metal also holds a 50% joint venture interest in claims comprising about 10,000 acres near Beatty, Nev. and has a 100% interest in 21 claims in Baker Cty., Ore.
The company also owns about 23% of the issued and outstanding shares of California Gold Mines, a public company trading on the tse and vse.
