Underground tour of Hollinger mine

Individuals concerned about the impact of mining on the environment are invited to visit the Hollinger gold mine at Timmins, Ont. The underground tour, available daily during the summer till September, was established in May, 1990, with the support of the city of Timmins, the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corp. The tour includes a drilling and blasting display.
