Valdez finds gold in Chihuahua

Junior Valdez Gold (VAZ-A) has found low-grade gold mineralization on its Gaby property in Chihuahua state, Mexico.

Anomalous gold values were found in soil samples from the Los Jarros prospect, which measures 1.5 by 1.8 km. Also, outcrop samples from two smaller areas returned more than 0.1 gram per tonne. In total, 276 one-metre saw-cut channel samples returned grades of up to 12.8 grams, though the average was 0.9 gram.

Valdez intends to conduct 1,000 metres of drilling to test for a low-grade, high-tonnage gold deposit.
