Drilling on the Illinois Creek project in the western interior of Alaska is returning wide intersections of gold mineralization. The property is owned by Vinta Exploration (VSE) which recently completed 38 holes for a total of 6,030 ft. of reverse circulation drilling. The Illinois Creek project was last reported to contain a preliminary reserve estimate of 1.7 million tons grading 0.071 oz. gold and 2.05 oz. silver per ton.
The recent drilling program included infill drilling in the reserve area as well as stepout drilling on strike to the southwest and northeast. Drilling results are as follows, with further holes pending. Depth Width Gold Silver Hole (ft.) (ft.)
