Waddy completes 15 holes infill drilling at Komis project

Fifteen drill holes have now been completed by Waddy Lake Resources (TSE) on their 100% owned Komis gold deposit near La Ronge, Sask.

All 15 were infill holes drilled to increase reserves on the “C” zone, where the current mineral inventory is 308,709 tons grading 0.48 oz. gold per ton. All of the holes encountered coarse visible gold.

Several of the holes also intersected the “A” zone, which contains preliminary reserves of 93,125 tons grading 0.41 oz. gold. Visible gold was also noted in these holes.

Total preliminary reserves in five zones at the Komis deposit are 562,000 tons grading 0.44 oz. gold. Assay results are pending for all of the new mineralized drill intersections.

The current 10,000 ft. drill program will also include at least four exploration holes which will be drilled to test for down-plunge extensions of the known mineralized zones.

Golden Rule Resources (TSE), which owns 53.58% of Waddy Lake, has recently purchased the mine and mill facilities at the Jolu gold property, 35 km southwest of the Komis deposit. It is hoped that the mill can be utilized to process ore from the Komis deposit.
