Western pulls out from Jones Hill

The recent withdrawal of Western Mining from the Jones Hill joint venture came as a surprise to Champion Resources (VSE) which is currently seeking advice from its lawyers because of the unexpected decision.

Champion President Michael McInnis said Western did not provide any reasons for its withdrawal from the joint venture agreement announced in late June. Champion owns 100% of the large Proterozoic massive sulphide deposit in New Mexico. The company intends to continue exploration of Jones Hill on its own, and will be looking at new sources of funding.
