Westlake, Minera merger approved

Final court approval has been granted for a merger between Minera Rayrock (TSE) and Westlake Industries (VSE) which holds a 40% stake in Minera’s Bellavista gold project in Costa Rica. Under the merger, Westlake shareholders will receive 11 Minera shares for every 20 shares of Westlake held. The deal increases Minera’s issued shares to 14.5 million of which about 55.7% are controlled by parent Rayrock Yellowknife (TSE).
