Westmin Res. back in black for 1995

With its Myra Falls operation on Vancouver Island back on stream, Westmin Resources (TSE) reported a net profit of $11.8 million for 1995 on revenue of $110.7 million.

Cash flow from operations amounted to $32.1 million, compared with a deficit of $27.2 million in 1994.

Results in 1994 were adversely affected by a strike at the Myra Falls underground mine, netting the company a loss of $24.8 million on revenue of $34.2 million.
