Vme Americas is the new name for Clark Michigan. The new company will continue to market its products under the familiar names of Volvo, Michigan, Euclid and Ranger. Five new additions have been made to the company’s loader line. All five feature a unique quick coupler attachment bracket that allows operators to switch from one attachment to another in a matter of seconds.
The Michigan product line now has loaders with bucket capacities ranging from 1.15 to 9.17 cu m.
Vme Americas and Volvo bm are subsidiaries of vme Group N.V.
Vme also introduced a new Euclid 190-ton off-highway truck. This, the largest hauler in the Euclid product line, has a capacity of 106.8 cu m with a body width of 6.3 m. A choice of two engines is available: a 1,342-kW 16-cylinder turbo-charged Cummins engine or a Detroit Diesel engine.
The R190 features a General Electric wheel motor, complete with planetary assembly, on each rear wheel.
