A diamond drill program is scheduled to begin this month on its Anderson Lake and Pilot properties in the Bralorne area of B.C., reports X-Cal Resources President Shawn Kennedy.
Drill sites are being prepared for a 5,000-ft drilling program at Anderson Lake. The trenching and access program has given strong indication that the South Fork area of the project conforms to the model presented by the Bralorne/Pioneer gold mine, says Mr Kennedy. Large new quartz veins have been uncovered and are now being trenched.
A 2,000-ft initial drill program is scheduled for the gold-cobalt Pilot prospect in the Bridge River area. The drilling will test two targets along the 3-km-long Pilot shear zone in the gold pass section of the property.
Funding for the drill programs is to be provided by M.V.P. Exploration Co. Ltd Partnership in exchange for X-Cal flow-through shares, subject to regulatory approval.
