Plexmar Resources again topped the most-active board surging 29% to close the week at 97 with almost 36.6 million shares changing hands. Uranium hunter International Arimex Resources lodged just under 11.5 million shares of volume, gaining 90% to close at 19. Geophysical surveys on its Key Lake project in northern Saskatchewan’s Athabasca basin have lit up three conductor trends on the claims optioned from CanAlaska Ventures.
Shares of Silver Fields Resources rallied 62%, or 6.5, to close the week at 17 apiece on volume of over 7.7 million. Exploration programs are in progress on the company’s silver projects in northern Idaho and Montana.
Patrician Diamonds plummeted 39% to close the trading session down 11 at 17 per share on volume of 7.5 million. Wide silver intercepts from the Hoag zone at its Nuestra Senora project in Sinaloa state, Mexico fuelled trading of over 6.9 million shares in Scorpio Mining, which gained a penny to close at $1.19.
Goldmarca remained even on the week at 67 per share, trading over 6.1 million shares. Its Eccolmetals property in southern Ecuador has excited investors due to its proximity to Aurelian Resources’ Fruta del Norte project.
An intercept of 0.79 gram gold per tonne and 0.55% copper over 136 metres from its Pinaya project in southern Peru pushed Acero-Martin Exploration up 26%, gaining 20 to close at 96 per share on volume of 4.8 million.
Shares in aspiring junior nickel producer Crowflight Minerals rallied 27% on almost 4.8 million shares of volume to close at 45. Development of its Bucko Lake nickel deposit in Manitoba has entered the 30-day public review stage.
UC Resources notched up 9 to close at 61 on trading of 4.7 million shares. La Dura hosts a past-producing gold-silver operation that has left significant tailings and stockpiles containing good gold and silver grades.
