Fireweed Metals (TSXV: FWZ; US-OTC: FWEDF) is planning a resource update by June on its Macmillan Pass zinc-lead-silver project in the Yukon, chief geologist Jack Milton says.
The company, backed the Lundin family and Teck Resources (TSX: TECK.A, TECK.B; NYSE: TECK), is releasing assays showing high-grade zinc mineralization defining a feeder zone at the deposit’s boundary, Milton says in a new video.
The world’s largest high-grade tungsten project, Mactung, is also in Fireweed’s stable. It’s being advanced next door along the Yukon-Northwest Territories border.
Watch Milton speak with The Northern Miner‘s western editor, Henry Lazenby, last month at the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia’s Roundup in Vancouver.
