Kimberley sampling yields diamonds

The bulk sampling program at the Blina project of Kimberley Diamond (KDC-V) has yielded 42 diamonds thus far.

The project is situated in West Kimberley, South Africa.

Kimberley recovered one stone weighing 0.6 carat from Pit 3; the other stones were smaller, with the total weight of the 42 stones at 11.56 carats. Final processing and analysis of samples from the 1,500-tonne bulk sampling program is about 30% complete.

Meanwhile, Kimberley has purchased 2.5 million warrants for an equal number of shares of Lone Star Exploration (LSE-V). By exercising these, and other options it holds, Kimberley would control just over 24% of the shares of Lone Star.

Lone Star Exploration has gold interests on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
